Why Volunteer

Campaigns eventually end. Community doesn't.

I want this campaign to build more than an Election Day operation. I want it to build relationships, people who know one another, understand their government, know how to advocate for their neighborhoods, and recognize their own ability to create change.

Democracy works best when residents don't just vote for government. They participate in it.

One Person Can Start Something. People Build It

You don’t have to wait until Election Day to make a difference.

The Time Is Now. Together, let’s build. Together, let’s win.

This Campaign is Built on People.
and there's a place for you in it.

People Over Politics isn’t just the message of this campaign. It’s how we’re going to run it.

Find a Place on the Team

You don’t have to be a political expert. You don’t need campaign experience. And you definitely don’t have to have hours of free time.

  • Some people can give us a Saturday.
  • Some can give us an hour. Some can make calls from home.
  • Some can walk their neighborhood.
  • Some can host ten neighbors.
  • Some can put a sign in their yard.
  • Some can help online. It all matters.

Bring the Campaign to Your Community

I don't want this campaign to consist only of speeches from stages. I want conversations, at kitchen tables, in living rooms, at churches, businesses and neighborhood gatherings.

No crowd is too small for a meaningful conversation.

Ages 16–24: We Want You in This Campaign.

If we're going to talk about creating opportunity for Adelanto's young adults, then young adults should have a voice inside the campaign that's proposing it.

We don't want to build an agenda for young adults without young adults at the table.
